Directly reports to: HR Officer
Role Purpose: To continuously ensure that highly skilled, well motivated and professionally managed people are always available to actualize the objectives of the Centre; promoting best people management practice, people development and effective performance management system.
 
SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensure that all staff have valid contracts and job descriptions, and that they understand them
•Responsible for personnel and staff matters Implement HR deliverables.
•Prepare relevant employee statistics and update staff records
•Implement performance review and performance management for all staff with inputs from departmental heads
•Maintain Human Resource records, including staff lists, staff files and the leave register

■Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
 
Under the general supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, the Monitoring and Evaluation officer will:
1.Strengthen the Monitoring and Evaluation systems and plans for YGC Malaria program.
2.Provide support in quality checks for data collection and data entry
3.Ensure that the health facility workers are adequately trained in data management and receive relevant DCTs on regular basis
4.Monitor the flow of DCTs from the Health Facilities through LGAs and the State RBM offices
5.Conduct HF Evaluation, Follow-up training Evaluation and other related evaluations.
6.Support the quality control systems and mechanisms needed to guarantee proper management of information and data
7.Coordinate the planning and implementation of monthly and quarterly monitoring and supervision visit to project sites in collaboration with Zonal Coordinators and State PSM officers
8. Collate and analyze monitoring reports and prepare comprehensive project reports which should be submitted to the M&E Manager in a timely manner.
9.Coordinate the planning and implementation of project surveys

QUALIFICATIONS

■M&E Assistant
 
Summary of Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, the M&E Assistant will:
-Carry out Data check, editing and cleaning in preparation for data analysis under the supervision of the M&E Officer.
-Document data errors and communicate to M&E officer
-Liaise with Zonal Coordinators, State PSM Officers and State RBM Managers on issues related to quality of data received from them
-Carry out data cleaning
-Enter all data into the program database.
-Ensure proper documentation and archiving of programmatic reports using existing filing systems .             
-Generate monthly and quarterly Implementation reports using standard reporting templates
-Translate reports in form of charts and graphs

■Internal Audit Officer
Directly reports to: Head of Internal Audit
 
Role Purpose:
To continually review and update control for adequacy and ensure controls established are strictly adhered to and in line with the guiding objectives of the Centre. Directly Ensure Compliance in all departments
•Monthly checks the Cashier record and the Supervisor’s posting into the cash book and Pastel    .
•Verifies and checks all supporting documents for purpose, beneficiary, value authorization and date
•Check and ensure that relevant processes are followed for stock requisition
•Ensure internal control measures are operating as laid down
•Ensure overview function of internal audit is spread all over the operation of the Centre
•Carry out Spot check on all movable assets including cash.
 
In carrying out the above functions, the Internal Audit Officer shall assist the Internal Auditor to:-
•Regularly review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting checks and balances including internal controls built into the system.
•Affirm the quality of performance at various levels of carrying out designated responsibilities.
•Ascertain that all the Centre’s assets are adequately protected and secured.
•Ensures that all incomes are properly computed and received as at when due
•Ensures that all payments are disbursed appropriately in accordance with laid down accounting procedures.
•Ensures that laid down limits of authority are consistent applied.
•             Ensures that all deductions are accounted for as at when due
• . Ensures that the Centre complies with all statutory and international regulations governing Non Governmental Organizations.
•Regularly seek improvements on the accounting process
