A leading international oil and gas company based in Nigeria is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the underlisted positions:

Maintenance Engineer – Startup Manager
¦Control and follow-up the maintenance engineering activities regarding the installations of project Facilities and ensure that these actions are as much in line with the ME performed

¦Control that the proper documents and data required for maintenance have been duly obtained and followed up and to check that the progress measurement gives realistic information.

¦Participate to criticality and RCM studies in order to be sure that maintenance requirements are taken into consideration.

¦Co-ordinate the preparation and the implementation of data to be loaded in Computerised Maintenance Management System (UNISUP PM tool)

Supervise the preparation, review and validate the maintenance dossiers

¦Participate to the preparation of documents and files required for the implementation of the Electronic Data Management System

Supervise, control and validate the final report of ME activities

¦Coach Maintenance Engineers, CMMS Engineer, EDMS Engineer and Material technician


Qualification:
¦Degree certified or HND/C with relevant experience

¦Professional Experience (number of years): 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, 5 years experience in the field of maintenance and / or asset planning in a supervisory role.

¦Good knowledge of planning techniques and systems, Offshore operations, and maintenance functions.

¦Good responsibility sense, Method and anticipation view, relationship competence and solving problem skill.

¦Experience of Maintenance and Inspection Engineering Contract

¦SAP/R3 experience and know-how

¦Good English language level (spoken and written)

JOB DIMENSION
¦Context and environment: Nigeria.

¦Project is a new field development in 750 m water depth and 100 km south of the Nigerian coast.

¦Projectis being developed with 42 subsea wells connected to a 2MMbbls storage FPSO via 2 production loops, 2 water injection lines and 1 gas injection line.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS ON THE SPECIFICITIES OF THE JOB AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
¦The significantly larger Nigerian Content for this FPSO compared to industry experience brings an additional challenge to this project.

¦Capable of maintaining good interpersonal relations with the ability to work with a multi-national workforce.

¦Location & scheme:

¦Onshore resident position in Nigeria during the FPSO yard construction, commissioning phase, tow, hook-up and start-up periods, with missions to other geographical sites as required.

COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS

¦Duration – 24 Months

¦Start Date – April 1, 2010

¦Residential Status (not rotational)

Development Planning Manager


¦Initiate and perform screening studies for potential new developments;

¦Prepare and periodically update a strategic development plan for each asset;

¦Establish the short term planning (2 years) of the Asset operations (drilling, work over, construction);

¦Assist the drilling group by consolidating the drilling planning within the asset ;

¦Participate with the Headquarter SCR/ED pre-project leaders in the scope of work definition of the feasibility or pre-project studies; follow up and endorse the feasibility / pre-project studies;

¦Initiate economics evaluations of the potential projects in relation with the Strategy / Business entity (Strategic Planning);

Contribute to a gas plan for the area;

¦Represent the asset manager in the consultative committees (geosciences, project);

¦Preparation, follow-up and explanation of pre-development studies budget and performance for each block, in relation to NNPC as well as Co-Venturers;

¦Provide technical input to the dossiers to be submitted to CDEP, business review, ComVal, COMEX;

¦Assist in the preparation of the yearly work program and budget for each block in relation with the entities of the asset;

¦Prepare the Asset input to the Long Term Plan of the subsidiary (asset perimeter, production forecast, investment and operating costs);

¦Prepare the PVR of the Asset, in liaison with the Project and field GSR entities;

¦Attend different committees with partners and authorities, when required, and prepare the associated input and documentation on development issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
¦Qualification: Petroleum engineer (or other engineer with petroleum training)

¦Professional Experience: minimum 10 experience.

¦Needs wide understanding of the upstream industry, including exploration, reservoir/production, facilities and oil treatment, economic evaluations and commercial aspects.

¦Strong commercial background with the ability to understand and manage relatively complex deals and financial transactions.

¦Enthusiastic and results driven individual with the ability to achieve required results at pace and under pressure.

¦Well organised with the ability to meet exacting deadlines and work under time pressure. Able to assimilate a confident understanding of business and strategy and any transactions under consideration.

¦Excellent interpersonal and comms/presentation skills, both within and outside the Company. Well honed written skills including the preparation of briefing documents, letters and presentations.

¦Flexible and willing to travel.


¦French speaking would be an advantage. 


JOB DIMENSION
¦Three client operated Nigeria deep water blocks with one major discovery currently under development and with very high exploration potential and activity. The 3 blocks have different combinations of active co-venturers in JOA. Behind all is NNPC as concession-holder (PSC).

¦Interaction between several locations: asset management in Lagos, economists and finance/cost control in Lagos, exploration team in Port Harcourt, facilities studies team in Europe, and reservoir study teams in Lagos and Pau.

OSC – Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Engineer

¦To provide the management and production leadership for a work package within a large project

¦Review Contractor deliverables for the OSC Construction Camp. Review Vendor deliverables.

¦Participate to technical meetings & Project meetings as and when required.

¦Ensure that the Design and Engineering complies with Company Basic Engineering and requirements.

¦Ensure that for the technical definition of the package is in compliance with the contract scope (as defined in exhibits A and E) and with client’s rules, standards and specifications

¦Coordinating all the other engineering activities and interfaces on systems (Architecture, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Instrument, Telecom, Safety, Security, External works, etc) with Project specialists.

¦Ensure that the delivery of the technical documents respects the schedule and quality for procurement, supply, construction, pre-com / com, operation activities, spare parts and maintenance

¦Attend site as and when required to review & approve Works. Review and answer to Design and Construction Contractor queries

¦Carry out necessary coordination with specialists of client Head-quarters and all relevant approving

authorities

¦Follow up on Inspections and Tests carried out by Suppliers and Contractors

¦Provide Construction team with technical supports in reviewing Engineering Deliverables and in field surveys and in field engineering coordination with Contractor and Subcontractors to ensure that activities in the field are done as per the technical requirements and with acceptable quality.

¦Provide Interface Engineer and Engineering Coordinator with technical support for the interface management

with other departments in projects.

¦Contribute to the achievement of the client & project Upgrade Safety Targets and Zero tolerance of unsafe

working practices and occurrences.

¦Liaise and support Vendor / Contractor representative during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phase.

Manage a large national workforce and communities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
¦Experience: Minimum of 15 years in the Construction Industry

¦Preferable to have had experience in Design

¦Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures and Legislation

¦Leadership and People Management Skills. Autonomous, self motivating; ability to motivate and influence people. Problem solving ability.

¦Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills,

¦Ensure that for the Architectural/Building part, the technical definition of the upgrade package is in compliance with the contract scope (as defined in exhibits A and E) and with client’s rules, standards and Coordinating all the other engineering activities and interfaces on systems (Architecture, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Instrument, Telecom, Safety, Security, External works, etc) with Project specialists.

¦Ensure that for the Architecture / Building section of the delivery of the technical document respects the schedule and quality for procurement, supply, construction, pre-com / com, operation activities, spare parts and maintenance

¦Attend site as and when required to review & approve Architecture and Building Works. Review and answer to Design and Construction Contractor queries

¦Carry out necessary coordination with specialists of Total Head-quarters and all relevant approving authorities

¦Follow up on Inspections and Tests carried out by Suppliers and Contractors for Architecture and Building Scope

¦Provide Construction team with technical supports in reviewing Architecture and Building Engineering

¦Architectural or Building Engineering educational Diploma / Degree Qualification

¦Minimum of 10 years working experience in Architecture and Building Engineering Building Projects, i.e. Residential , Hotel type facilities

¦Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills, Team Worker, Self Motivated.

EDUCATION:
¦Degree in Architecture preferable.
