The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Program Support Unit (PSU) invites applications for position below: The PSU is a bilateral project of CIDA and the successful candidates will perform a wide range of administrative and financial functions while assisting the Director in the day-to-day operations of the office. These position require a high degree of professionalism, independent judgment and strong organizational, communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to be flexible as demands and proprieties change.
Executive Assistant
Functions and Duties:
•Assist in effective planning, coordination, and supervision in general of the administration and support activities of the project,
•Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses to the annual operating budget
•Manage the human and capital resources of the PSU.
•Maintain security of the premises and project assets
•Assist in procurement procedures, contracting and mission support
•Oversee the IT function of the office
•Others duties as required by the Director
The Executive Assistant will provide advice and guidance on office management and support services, and develop plans for those administrative support functions essential to ensuring effective and efficient operations of the overall running of the project.

Education/Experience
Relevant university degree is an asset, 5 years experience in the domain of office administration, human resources management, financial management and procurement. Previous experience within an international organization is an asset.
Skills:
Good command of the English language; both oral and written
Excellent interpersonal skills/Ability to work with minimum supervision and to multi task
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
