Location: Cairo (Egypt)

Job Description
This position is located in Hamburg, Germany; London, UK; Stockholm, Sweden; Moscow, Russia; Milan, Italy or Cairo, Egypt.
The area: Strategic Partnerships
Google's mission is to organize the world's information, and our growing Content Partnerships team helps to provide access to all of the world's content. Through content partnerships and programs, we support Google.com, YouTube, Google Book Search, Google Maps and Google Earth and over 20 Google products/properties around the world. The breadth and scope of content we acquire almost defies description – it includes video, books, publications, mapping data, satellite and aerial imagery, business addresses, restaurant reviews, retail product inventories, real estate listings and government data.
The role: Strategic Partner Development Manager, Print Content Partnerships
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, Print Content Partnerships you have an exciting opportunity to apply and hone business skills (e.g. business development, marketing, and strategy) in an environment that is entrepreneurial. This operating role will appeal to aspiring general managers, as it provides exposure to multiple functional disciplines (e.g. Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations). You will be working to obtain Print Content that is valuable to Google users, but not yet included in Google's index. You will drive the negotiations around monetization opportunities with publishers, retailers and book ereaders/device manufacturers in EMEA. In this role you will have the opportunity to "own" the content strategy and execution for certain categories/verticals, negotiate complex partnerships, represent Google at industry events, work across multiple European markets, present to senior management, and collaborate with product teams to evolve Google's offerings.
Managers are creative, results-oriented individuals with a passion for Google, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be as comfortable in a partner-facing capacity negotiating content-licensing deals, as in working cross-functionally on programs to encourage/enable providers to make their content discoverable through Google.
Responsibilities:
• Initiate, structure, and negotiate high impact strategic content partnerships at CXO level.
• Represent Google to the media and at industry events and be the ambassador for the company in discussions with key accounts and prospects.
• Prioritize content providers/geographies to focus on through analysis and deep understanding of Google's product roadmap.
• Define content acquisition vertical strategies, decide where to focus efforts, and choose mix of acquisition channels/methods.
[scholarships]
Requirements:
• Undergraduate BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with an MBA and/or JD strongly preferred.
• Business development experience negotiating complex media or Internet deals preferred at the CXO level.
• Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment.
• Detailed knowledge of the book publishing and newspaper industries a plus.
• Fluency in English along with one or more of German, Italian, Swedish, Russian or Arabic is required.
Additional Information
•Applicants with recommendations are preferred.
