The QED Group, LLC (QED) is seeking seasoned Senior-Level Agricultural Experts for possible ST or LT projects in Africa, including
Ghana, Kenya, Congo, and Liberia. Candidates would provide technical assistance and expert advice in support of local efforts to develop the agricultural sector, strengthen agricultural markets, enhance rural livelihoods, build agriculture best practices, and strengthen relevant SMEs, public and private institutions.
We seek candidates with the following areas of expertise:Value chain methodology
Food security
Development of agricultural markets & trade
Agricultural finance
Sustainable agriculture
Extension services
Agricultural best practices
Agribusiness development
Agri-business industry association development
Water productivity
Requirements:
Master’s Degree or PhD in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
8+ years of field experience in 1 or more areas of expertise listed above, preferably in Africa.
Significant work experience both in agriculture/agribusiness and with international donors (e.g. USAID, USDA, UN, Worldbank).
Proficiency in English.
Local language speaking/writing ability in the above-specified countries desired.

Candidates must strong business writing and communication skills. Must be a highly motivated, self-starter, team-player with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in complex international work environments.
