Sales Executive (VIRGIN ATLANTIC ACCRA GSA SECONDMENT) .
Accounts Executive (VIRGIN ATLANTIC ACCRA GSA SECONDMENT)
Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager
Role purpose
Coordinating the activities of the Account Managers, Keeping Trade & Corporate Clients informed of developments in the Organisation, Drafting of Proposals & Contracts, Supporting Marketing and Public Relations functions and Performing Administrative functions
Sales
Schedule/reschedule meetings (internal & external)
Implementation of recommendations based on agreed parameters with Account managers
Liaise with Credit Controller, ensuring VAA is not at risk of defaulting clients
Draw up tailor-made proposals for high/medium revenue prospects with Account Manager
Draw up contracts in line with agreed terms and conditions, issuing addendums, and maintaining a database to track contract expiry dates
Marketing
Support in developing local marketing and communication strategies to target market to achieve overall business objectives,
Support in maintaining brand values and quality control
Key support in all Event Planning Activities
Local product development
Supporting liaisons at certain levels between VAA the media, government and other agencies
Responsible for stationery & merchandise stock
Required Skills or Experience
Team player
Strong analytical and good management skills
Self motivated/self starter
Proficient in written & spoken English
Proficient in the use of Shares
Highly knowledgeable in computer software such as word, excel & power point
Ability to work under pressure
Must have business presentation skills
Must be educated up to a minimum of a first degree
Previous airline experience in a similar role would be an added advantage
