Qualificatio

Addax Petroleum, one of the largest independent oil producers in West Africa, is currently in search of highly talented and well-experienced professionals with appropriate skill sets to help build capacity for current and future expansion within its Asset Management, Human Resource Management and Drilling Engineering teams. ASSOCIATE RESERVIOUR ENGINEER: ASM 1003   B.Sc degree with Second Class Upper Division in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with high computer literacy. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the oil industry and an eagerness to learn and develop expertise in all aspects of Reservoir Engineering including Reservoir Simulation.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

    Monitor production from existing fields, analyse relevant data and ensure that production is maximised and recoveries are optimal.     Assist in monitoring and updating reservoir management strategies.     Assist in preparation of detailed medium and long-term production forecasts.     Assist in presentation of field reviews and incremental development proposals.     Study and rank potential infill well, recompletion and workover targets.     Assist in preparing data-decks and conducting reservoir simulation studies to determine optimum methods of maximising ultimate oil recovery and enhance individual well performance.     Prepare production testing proposals and provide guidelines for execution.  How to Apply  Interested and qualified applicatnts should use the link below to apply on or before 18th May 2010 http://netserveafrica.com/jobs/addaxjobs.php
